Gov. Wolf awards NuPaths Pre-Apprenticeship, Industry Partnership grants following year of growth

NuPaths, an alternative education company co-founded by Harrisburg University to prepare students for well-paying, in-demand, entry level roles in Information Technology (IT), has been awarded several state grants by Gov. Tom Wolf to support its innovative IT workforce development programs.

Launched in 2018, NuPaths is a 6-month college alternative for recent high school graduates, veterans, and career-transitioning employees. Students learn the IT skills and receive the industry-recognized certifications needed to enter today’s IT Job market. NuPaths also works with high school seniors through programs embedded into the school day. In its first year, NuPaths experienced tremendous growth and Gov. Wolf’s support will help expand its programs that provide job-specific skill sets for technical support, software testing, digital marketing and IT security operation center positions.
